A quicker, cleaner Cadence. Voice commands let you punctuate without touching the keyboard, the transcription UI is smoother, and the floating HUD stays consistent across rapid sessions.
What's new
- Voice commands during dictation. Say "full stop", "comma", "new paragraph", "question mark", and more — Cadence inserts the punctuation for you. No keyboard needed.
- Smoother live transcription. UI updates are now debounced, so text appears fluidly instead of flickering segment by segment.
- Fixed HUD sizing. The floating recording indicator no longer grows wider across repeated dictation sessions.
- Improved recording animation. The breathing dot is consistent across the main window, floating HUD, and full-screen Spaces.
- New auto-update signing key. Secure Sparkle updates going forward.
How to update
Download Cadence 1.1 and drag it to your Applications folder, replacing the old version. Your license carries over — no need to re-enter anything.
